Patrick's Day
Patrick Pullen, my nephew, was born on March 18th 2017 with a rare condition called grin2B. so rare that there are only about 500 known cases in the world.
This condition effects Patrick's neurological and physical development.
For the past 8 years I have been holding charity events to help aid children in Newport with difficulties like Patrick, unaware that he would come into the world also needing help.
As he is getting older and bigger he is needing more specialist equipment, wheelchairs and therapy.
Now diagnosed, I want to make this years event greater than ever. Not just to aid Patrick, but to create awareness for this rare condition.
The money raised will go towards specialist equipment to support Patrick.
My sister and her husband are truly an inspiration to everyone. They have such a beautiful family despite all the difficulties and challenges they face. They are always giving to everyone else and ignoring their own needs. I really want to show them how much everyone cares and loves them.

❤️ Newport born Pencil Artist, Mark Everson, will spend the full day at the event venue completing a detailed portrait of Welsh TV presenter Ali Drew's eye. The intention is for the finished drawing to be raffled off to raise money for the event. Mark previously did a similar charity event 9 years ago, completing a portrait of Leigh Halfpenny to raise funds for another worthy children's charity.
Welsh Sports Presenter, Ali, was delighted to be able to help and be the subject for this latest attempt and we can't wait to see the process and the result. Mark has helped raise lots of money for local charities over the years so we are very grateful to have him on 'Team Patrick' for the day. You can witness Mark drawing throughout the whole day at the event venue.
❤️ Furthermore, Patrick’s brothers Sam and Vincent will be doing various football challenges throughout the day.
❤️ Cake sales, raffles,special guest appearances, photos with 'Paddy' the St Patrick's day mascot, nail painting music and the rugby 6 nations final on the big screen.with half time curry too! We're going to make it a day to remember!
