What is the maximum number of people Jenna can work with on a wedding day?

There is no set limit - it will vary depending on the time of your wedding ceremony, and the hair and makeup styles you have chosen. Jenna is very experienced with large groups and can often manage easily on her own, but when time may be more limited, she can also bring an assistant to ensure a relaxed morning.

Would Jenna prefer to do just hair / just makeup? Should I book another artist?

Jenna loves to do both hair and makeup, and is proud to specialise in both. She is very experienced in ensuring the wedding morning runs smoothly. However, Jenna is also happy to work alongside another artist where needed.

How far will Jenna travel for my wedding?

Jenna has travelled to many different destinations for weddings, and loves to visit new countries. Travel and accommodation fees will apply depending on your chosen location - please contact us for a quote.

Do I have to have a wedding trial? Where do the trials take place?

Trials are optional but recommended for the bride. Other members of the bridal party are also welcome to have trials if they would like to. For UK and most destination weddings, trials will take place at the Jenna McDonnell salon in Newport, Wales, with appointments held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For Mallorca weddings, trials can also take place in Mallorca. If you're not able to have a trial, Jenna will always ensure that you are completely happy with your look on the day.​

I have specific concerns about my hair or skin - will Jenna be able to work with me?

Absolutely.  Every person’s hair and skin is different, and Jenna has over 20 years experience working with a wide variety of hair types and textures, skin tones and skin types. Whether you have very fine, thick, curly or frizz-prone hair, deeper or very fair skin tones, acne, pigmentation, scarring or another concern you may feel conscious of, please don’t worry. Jenna adapts the products and techniques she uses to help you feel comfortable, confident and completely yourself. If there is anything you are particularly concerned about, you’re always welcome to mention it when enquiring or at your trial.​​
